Welcome to the website for the Division of Plastic Surgery at ETSU Health.   Our mission is to restore beauty and function through the application of creativity and precise technique.

Overview

We offer the full spectrum of plastic surgery, including a broad variety of cosmetic procedures, as well as comprehensive reconstructive surgery for trauma, cancer, and congenital defects.   We also provide a range of nonsurgical aesthetic services, including Botox ®, injectable fillers such as Juvederm ®, and advanced skin care solutions.

Dr. Haynes founded the Division of Plastic Surgery in 1994, and it has since become a regional referral center for breast and skin cancer reconstruction, and for cosmetic and aesthetic plastic surgery.   We provide services at hospitals in Washington, Carter, and Sullivan counties, and at East Tennessee Ambulatory Surgery Center in Johnson City.

Dr. Powers photo

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jeremy Powers has joined ETSU Health, Division of Plastic Surgery.  
Dr. Powers operates primarily at Johnson City Medical Center, and sees patients at our main office, located at 325 N. State of Franklin Road in Johnson City.


Philosophy

Medicine (and especially surgery) can seem a bit intimidating, so we hope you won't mind that we've tried to lighten our web-site with a little bit of humor.   We think you'll find our staff to be very approachable and caring - and whatever problem you're facing, we've almost certainly seen it before.

We have drawn our website inspiration from a stylistic site called the Zen-Garden, which advocates enlightenment through an obscure entity called a cascading style sheet.   We advocate enlightenment through silicone, but hey, to each their own.   Portions of this website are still under construction, so please be patient with us as we add information and photos.   If you have questions to which you can't find answers (or if you have suggestions for this new website), please feel free to call or send an e-mail via the Contact form.
